Scope of Service

Ustawi Practice offers private, reflective mental health support in a one-to-one setting. As an independent practice, we do not provide crisis intervention or emergency care and are not available for urgent contact between sessions.

By engaging with our services or using this website, you acknowledge that Ustawi Practice is not an emergency service and cannot provide support in crisis situations. If you are experiencing a crisis or require immediate assistance, please contact one of the services listed on our Crisis Support page.

Website Use

Users agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. Users must not:

  • attempt to disrupt website functionality

  • introduce malicious software

  • use the website for illegal activities

Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide accurate and helpful information, Ustawi Practice is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from the use of this website or reliance on its content.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

Notice period

To avoid a cancellation charge, notice of cancellation or rescheduling must be received at least 24 hours before the scheduled session time.

Cancellation charges

  • More than 24 hours notice: no charge.

  • Less than 24 hours notice: the full session fee is charged.

  • Failure to attend without notice (no-show) the full session fee is charged.

Rescheduling

Rescheduling requests received more than 24 hours before the session will be accommodated where possible, at no additional cost. Requests received less than 24 hours before the session are treated as a late cancellation and subject to the standard charge.

How to cancel or reschedule

To cancel or reschedule a session, please contact Ustawi Practice by email at info@ustawipractice.com. The timestamp of your email determines whether the cancellation falls within or outside the 24-hour notice period.

Exceptional circumstances

We recognise that illness, family emergencies, and other unforeseen events occur. In genuine circumstances of this kind, Ustawi Practice may waive the cancellation charge at its discretion. Please get in touch as soon as possible so we can discuss the situation together.

Cancellations by Ustawi Practice

If Ustawi Practice needs to cancel or reschedule a session, for example, due to illness or unforeseen circumstances on our side, you will be offered the choice of rescheduling at a mutually convenient time or receiving a full refund for any pre-paid session.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated versions will be published on this page.
